I've been given the greatest gift. Tonight I'm putting the finishing touches on CAN's TBI healing menu for the next few weeks and decided to bake some fill-in items. Baking for my TBI-afflicted friend of a bazillion years (is that actually a number?) has been healing, nostalgic and filled me with more love and gratitude for my friend and the community we've shared for the last 30 years. It's awesome. We are blessed and I am grateful. Baking tonight includes Grain Free Blueberry Muffins , Brain Fixin' Trail Mix (all me, baby!) and DW's World-Famous Sandwich Bread . Apparently there are "brain-friendly" foods. The list is pretty much a clean eating diet which is my jam so this should be fun.
